Who are we to boast in our own works.

Proverbs 27:1 "Do not boast of yourself and tomorrow, for you know not what a day may bring forth"

If I could turn back the hands of time, what could I really change? What experiences would I omit? What lessons do I feel I could have been just fine without? Who am I to say that the pain and anger that I have encountered and been consumed by, was of no benefit to the person I am (to be)? Who am I to say when Life (which only God creates), deserves to end. On the basis that I ASSUME, FEEL, AND THINK (all uncertanties that are constantly changing) that I am ill prepared for whatever LIFE may have to offer me. Who am I to say that God's plan, test, and testimony for me are unecessary or too much for me to bear? When I dont see God's full plan (I can't even fathom).  I see my small piece of the story, but God knew my end before I even began. He is the creator of the universe, the solar system and all the galaxies, everything known and unknown. He is in control and present in all of His creation. If God is this, who am I to assume full authority of analysis over my life. Who am I to be my own judge and lead my own way? When I dont see God's vision for me, When I dont have the plan nor the tools within myself to fufill my purpose. How would I know my life's purpose? If God's divine revelation did not reveal, confirm, and encourage me to believe that it is God who knows my purpose and holds my future? Who am I to determine what the supernatural, all knowing , all seeing, perfect model of perfection and unconditional Love CAN and SHOULD do for me? Maybe I should beg and plead what can I do for God (only thing being give him Glory). 1 Corinthians 10:31 " Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do ALL to the glory of God" How big am I that I can make my problems out to be bigger than God's Glory? Who am I to negotiate with what God defines as my life story? Who am I to say that I have better plans than the Almighty God? May we be reminded of who and what were dealing with. We are dealing with the ultimate power the ultimate love our ultimate reason and purpose for existing. The God who sent his son for us, so that we may recieve life instead of the death and wrath that our sinful souls deserve. John 3:16 " For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Christ), that everyone who believes into Him would not perish, but have eternal life" May we be humbled at how big and perfect God is and know that we are no match to compete or to rule, or to think we can plan better or do more than God HAS ALREADY DONE. Instead may we rejoice in the grace and forgiveness he has given us. May we delight in the ultimate rescue of Christ taking our place of death and Giving us connection to our father John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me". I am simply his child. Ephesians 1:5 "Predistinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His Will" I take part in this journey. I live, grow, stumble and learn under the supervision, protection, instruction and will of My Father, and all things in my life and under his reign (which is everything) is for HIS GLORY. May you endure and be encouraged to know that life with Christ is ur life purpose. It is He that orchestrates life. May we relish in who he is and be part of his kingdom to glorify and magnify him forever Amen
