My Soul Magnifies the Lord- Luke 1:46

May the Love of Christ live in me forever. We are created to Glorify God. All our gifts, weaknesses, testimonies and trials are all designed by God and for God. John Piper declares in his book The Dangerous Duty of Delight that "God is most Glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him". May we Maximize our Joy (Which comes from God) by Magnifying God's Glory. In Luke 1:46 Mary says "My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit has rejoiced in God my savior". How beautiful is this song of worship that Mary sings to the Lord. To magnify is to make big, make more of and to rejoice is to be made joyful and to delight in the Lord. I believe that Christ calls us to have the heart that Mary had. May the Lord be made big in my life and My I rejoice in Him forever.
